This visa stream allows migrants and their families to live, work and study legally and permanently in Australia.
This visa qualifies all skilled migrants, that have their nominated occupation on the MTSOL and state or Territory list . As this is a point-based visa stream, any applicant requires to atleast have a minimum score of 65 applicable at the time of application to be considered for the visa.
Points are awarded for age, education level, English language, work experience, study in Australia and regional areas, knowledge of other community languages and sponsorship by state and territory and eligible relative.

Under this category the visa holder is not sponsored by an employer or a state or a territory or a family member and along with its included family members can live ,work and study anywhere in Australia permanently
Skilled Nominated
(subclass 190)
Under this visa stream visa holder is nominated by a state or territory, which allows the visa holder along with its included family to live ,work and study in the sponsoring state or territory for 2 years .
Skilled Work Regional
(SUBCLASS 491)
PROVISIONAL
This visa will replace SC 489 allowing the skilled migrant and its included family to live ,work and study in designated regional areas of Australia for 5 years and can apply for Permanent residency after 3 years
